"Gunner"

Gunner was born June 3, 2010. This stunning colt is by the renowned dressage sire “Tinus,” one of the few Friesians trained and shown successfully through Grand Prix Dressage, by Sabine Schut-Kery. Winning USDF Championships in dressage at all levels, Tinus has proven ride ability and temperament for the highest levels of competition. Gunner is out of our beautiful Star mare Ynske; a dressage horse of excellent quality in her own right. Light and forward to ride, Ynske competed successfully through 1st level dressage before starting her breeding career. She has an exceptional temperament and work ethic, and continues her riding career concurrently with her breeding. She has a very active hind leg and 3 good gaits, which are easy to sit. Always forward and energetic for the breed, she is not spooky and easily ridden by the amateur or professional. We think Gunner is an excellent combination of his sire and dam, with a beautiful head and neck, strong hindquarters and long legs. He has a super canter, and has already shown to do flying changes in the pasture. He is a fast learner, with lots of energy and curiosity, and is sure to make a top dressage mount.
